Kimberly J. Popovits has served on the 10x Genomics board of directors since March 2020.
She was President and Chief Executive Officer of Genomic Health from January 2009 and Chairman of the Board from March 2012 until its acquisition by Exact Sciences in November 2019, having earlier served as the company's President and Chief Operating Officer from February 2002 to January 2009. From November 1987 to February 2002 she held various roles at Genentech, most recently Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales, and earlier was Division Manager, Southeast Region, for American Critical Care.
She holds a B.A. in Business from Michigan State University.
