Randy Wu, Ph.D., was appointed General Counsel and Secretary of 10x Genomics effective January 1, 2026, succeeding Eric S. Whitaker.
He previously served as the company's Vice President, Intellectual Property and Litigation. He joined 10x Genomics in August 2016 after working as an attorney at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP.
He holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of California, San Francisco, a J.D. from Stanford Law School and an A.B. in Chemistry from Harvard University.
