Mark D. Schwabero is the retired Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Brunswick Corporation, from which he retired in 2018. He became Chairman and CEO of Brunswick in February 2016 after serving as President and Chief Operating Officer and, prior to that, as President of Mercury Marine. He also serves as Director and Chairman of the Board of Methode Electronics, Inc.
He has nearly 43 years of total experience in the automotive, marine and commercial vehicle/manufacturing industries, the last 33 of which as a senior executive. He was named by CEO Today Magazine as one of the top 100 CEOs in America for 2018 and holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University.
