Melody Birmingham is Executive Vice President of NiSource, Inc. and Group President of NiSource Utilities, with full profit-and-loss responsibility for six regulated electric and natural gas operating companies serving more than four million customers across six states. She previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer of NiSource Inc.
She has over 32 years as an executive and board-level leader across the electric, natural gas, and automotive manufacturing sectors, and qualifies as an audit committee financial expert under SEC guidelines. She holds a B.S. from Purdue University, an M.B.A. from Strayer University, and an Honorary Doctorate from Saint Mary of the Woods College.
