James W. Breyer is a member of Blackstone's Board of Directors, elected effective July 14, 2016, and is Founder and CEO of Breyer Capital, a venture capital firm operating from Austin, Texas and Menlo Park, California. He has invested in over 40 technology companies that achieved successful public offerings or mergers.
He is a member of the Harvard Business School Board of Dean's Advisors and Chairman of the Stanford Engineering Venture Fund.
