Joseph Baratta is Global Head of Blackstone Private Equity Strategies and a member of the firm's Board of Directors and Management Committee. He joined Blackstone in 1998 and moved to London in 2001 to build the firm's European private equity business, and since 2012 has led all of its directly invested private equity strategies from New York. Before Blackstone he worked at Tinicum Incorporated, McCown De Leeuw & Company and Morgan Stanley.
