J.D. Walker has served as President of Garden Consumer Products at Central Garden & Pet Company since 2017, overseeing Central's branded garden business, including sales, marketing operations, the controls and fertilizer, grass seed and vendor partner business units, and the retail sales & service team.
From 2014 to 2017, Mr. Walker was Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Garden Branded Business, and he joined Central in 2011 as Senior Vice President of Garden Sales. Before joining Central, he spent 13 years with Spectrum Brands in senior positions and 17 years with The Gillette Company's Duracell North American Group.
