Jacob (Jake) Elguicze serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, prior to which he served as Senior Vice President, Finance of Diabetes Care at BD until the Separation. Previously, Jake was the Treasurer and Vice President of Investor Relations of Teleflex Incorporated (NYSE: TFX), a global provider of medical technologies designed to improve the health and quality of people's lives. Before assuming the role of Treasurer and Vice President of Investor Relations, he was the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at Teleflex.

Prior to that role, Jake worked at Motorola, Inc. in a variety of corporate finance roles of increasing responsibility, including most recently the Director of Finance for one of Motorola's strategic business units. Before joining Motorola, he served as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Scranton and a Master of Business Administration degree from Saint Joseph's University.

Mr. Elguicze became Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and principal financial officer of Embecta as of the Effective Time of the spin-off from BD on April 1, 2022, positions he has held since April 2022. Following Brian Capone's resignation, he served as interim principal accounting officer from August 12, 2024 until Anthony Roth's appointment effective December 2, 2024.
