Jason Klurfeld is General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Evercore, responsible for the firm's legal and compliance functions, and a member of the Firm's Management Committee.
Prior to joining Evercore in June 2011, he was a corporate and transactional attorney focusing primarily on mergers, acquisitions, financings, strategic investments and other corporate law matters at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York from 2006 to 2011 and at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Washington, D.C. from 2004 to 2006. Earlier he served in government as an aide to New York Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan.
He earned a B.A. in economics from Hamilton College, a Masters in History from Oxford University (St. Antony's College), and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
