About

Matthew Lindsey-Clark is co-head of Evercore's EMEA Investment Banking business, a senior managing director, and a member of the Firm's Management Committee.

He has over 40 years of investment banking experience and, before taking on his management roles, specialized in advising financial services companies, advising on M&A and capital markets transactions across banking, finance companies, property and casualty insurance and reinsurance, insurance broking and asset management. He joined Evercore on the completion of the acquisition of Lexicon Partners in August 2011; he had joined Lexicon in 2001 from Credit Suisse First Boston, where he was a managing director in the European financial institutions group. From 1997 until CSFB's acquisition of the firm in November 2000 he was with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in London, before which he was at NatWest Markets.

He has a first-class degree in classics from Oxford University.
