Sir Simon M. Robertson founded Simon Robertson Associates LLP in 2005, providing independent corporate finance advice to a limited number of major international companies, and has led the firm since its founding.
Before founding his own firm he was a Managing Director and President of Goldman Sachs Europe Limited from 1997 until he retired in 2005. He joined the Kleinwort Benson Group in 1963, worked across most of its businesses before joining its Corporate Finance Division in 1968, became Chairman of Kleinwort Benson Group Plc in 1996, and resigned from the Group in 1997.
He was knighted for services to Business in the Queen's Birthday Honours list in 2010, became an 'Officier' of the 'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres' in 2011, and 'Officier' de la Legion d'Honneur in 2014.
