James Lang was elected to the Halozyme Board of Directors in 2025 (effective December 4, 2025), with a term ending at the Company's 2027 annual meeting. He brings more than 30 years of experience in healthcare data, analytics and technology-enabled business services.
From May 2017 to August 2025, Mr. Lang served as founder and Chief Executive Officer of EVERSANA, a provider of global commercialization services for the life sciences industry, which he built through a series of M&A transactions, including over 20 acquisitions in seven years, growing it from $30 million in revenue and 150 employees to over $1 billion in revenue and approximately 6,000 employees. Since December 2016 he has also served as an executive advisor to Water Street Healthcare Partners. From 2012 to 2016 he held leadership roles at Decision Resources Group, including Chief Executive Officer from 2014 to 2016. From 2006 to 2008 he served as President of IHS Cambridge Energy Research Associates, and from 1989 to 2006 he held various roles at Strategic Decisions Group, including President and Chief Operating Officer from 2000 to 2006.
Mr. Lang received his B.S. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of New Hampshire and his MBA from the Tuck School of Business.
