James W. Griffith is the retired President and Chief Executive Officer of The Timken Company, having served in that capacity from 2002 to 2014. He has been an ITW director since 2012 and serves on the Compensation, Corporate Governance and Nominating, and Executive Committees.
He joined Timken in 1984 and held positions of increasing responsibility across purchasing and logistics, manufacturing and international operations, including President and Chief Operating Officer from 1999 to 2002.
