Richard J. Alario is Chairman of the Board of Kirby Corporation, a role he has held since the 2024 Annual Meeting, having served as an independent director since 2011. He brings more than 35 years of experience in oilfield services, including serving as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Key Energy Services, Inc., a publicly traded oilfield service company, from 2004 to 2016.
Across a career spanning marine, onshore, and offshore operations, his leadership has given the Board expertise in risk management, cybersecurity, environmental and safety programs, commercial and industrial markets, public policy, and finance. He holds a BA from Louisiana State University.
