Bart French joined MAA in December 2016 as Senior Vice President, Investments, initially responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and executing development transactions. On April 1, 2026, Mr. French was promoted to Executive Vice President, Investments, responsible for identifying new investment opportunities and overseeing MAA's transaction, development and joint venture efforts in alignment with the Board strategy.
Prior to joining MAA, Mr. French worked as Vice President, Investments for Post Properties Trust, the company MAA merged with in December 2016. At the time of the merger, Mr. French had worked for Post Properties Trust for approximately 11 years.
