Armando Pimentel, Jr. became chief executive officer of Florida Power & Light Company effective February 15, 2023, and also served as president of FPL from February 2023 to December 2025.
He previously served as president and CEO of NextEra Energy Resources from October 2011 to March 2019 and, before that, as chief financial officer of NextEra Energy and FPL. He has held a range of senior executive roles across the NextEra Energy enterprise.
