Larissa Schwartz has served as Okta's Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary since March 2023. She previously served as Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, Corporate & Securities from August 2020 to March 2023, Vice President, Associate General Counsel, Corporate & Securities from June 2017 to August 2020, Associate General Counsel, Senior Director, Corporate & Securities from November 2015 to June 2017, and Assistant Corporate Secretary from December 2015 to March 2023.
Before joining Okta, Ms. Schwartz was Corporate Counsel at Jazz Pharmaceuticals plc, a biopharmaceutical company, from October 2012 to November 2015, and earlier was a corporate attorney at the law firms of Fenwick & West LLP and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.
On April 22, 2026, Okta announced that Ms. Schwartz will step down from her role as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary effective July 31, 2026, and will thereafter continue as a senior advisor to the company through January 31, 2027.
She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, a Master in Philosophy and a Master of Arts from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College.
