Steven R. Beauchamp is Paylocity's Executive Chairman and a director, a role he has held since August 2024. From March 2022 until August 2024 he served as the company's Co-Chief Executive Officer, and from September 2007 until March 2022 as its Chief Executive Officer, leading Paylocity from an early-stage payroll provider through its 2014 IPO and subsequent scaling.
Prior to joining Paylocity in 2007, Mr. Beauchamp was employed by Paychex, Inc. from September 2002 to August 2007, where he served as VP of Product Management and as a Corporate Officer. He was earlier Vice President of Payroll Operations for Advantage Payroll Services, Inc. from August 2001 to September 2002, joining after Advantage acquired Payroll Central, where he had served as President from May 1999 to August 2001. He also spent three years in operations management with ADP Canada from May 1995 to April 1998.
Mr. Beauchamp holds a B.B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University and an M.B.A. from Queen's University, and brings over 25 years of experience in management positions at payroll services companies.
