Joel Anderson has served as Petco's Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors since July 2024. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Five Below, Inc., a publicly traded retail company, from 2015 to 2024, and earlier as President and Chief Executive Officer of Walmart.com from 2011 to 2014 and as a divisional Senior Vice President at Walmart. Mr. Anderson currently serves as a director and chair of the compensation committee of Sprouts Farmers Market, and holds a bachelor's degree from St. Olaf College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Glenn Murphy served as Executive Chairman of Petco's board from May 2024 to February 2026, when he transitioned to his current position as non-employee Chairman of the board. He founded FIS Holdings Ltd., a consumer-focused investment firm, in 2016 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer, and previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Gap, Inc. from 2007 to 2014 and of Shoppers Drug Mart Corporation from 2001 to 2007. Mr. Murphy also serves as Executive Chair of the board of Wella Company and previously served as Executive Chair and then Chairman of Lululemon Athletica, Inc.

Cameron Breitner has served as a member of Petco's board of directors since 2016 and chairs its audit committee. From February 2024 to December 2025 he served as a Senior Advisor at CVC, one of Petco's Sponsors, having previously been a Managing Partner and senior executive at the firm from 2007 to February 2024, where he led CVC's San Francisco office. Earlier he was a Managing Director at Centre Partners from 1998 to 2007, and he received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Duke University.

Gary Briggs has served as a member of Petco's board of directors since 2018 and is currently Senior Advisor, Marketing at OpenAI. Between 2013 and 2018 he served as Chief Marketing Officer of Meta Platforms, Inc. (formerly Facebook, Inc.), and previously held leadership roles at Google, eBay, PayPal, PepsiCo and IBM, beginning his career as a consultant at McKinsey and Company. He also serves on the boards of Etsy, Combe, Inc. and Omaze, and holds a bachelor's degree from Brown University and a master's degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Nishad Chande has served as a member of Petco's board of directors since 2016 and is Partner, U.S. Head of Consumer and Co-Head of Business Services at CVC, one of Petco's Sponsors, which he joined in 2016. Prior to CVC he worked at Centre Partners from 2005 to 2016, Bain & Company from 2003 to 2005, Raymond James Capital from 1999 to 2001, and Schroders from 1997 to 1999, and previously served on the board of BJ's Wholesale Club Holdings, Inc. He holds a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

R. Michael (Mike) Mohan has served as a member of Petco's board of directors since March 2021 and chairs its compensation committee; he previously served as Petco's Interim Chief Executive Officer from March 2024 to July 2024 and as Lead Independent Director from July 2021 to March 2024. Before joining Petco he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Best Buy Co., Inc. from June 2019 to July 2021, after serving in various leadership roles there from 2004. Mr. Mohan also serves as Chairman of the board of Bloomin' Brands, Inc. and on the board of Jackson Family Wines.

David Lubek has served as a member of Petco's board of directors since June 2023 and is Managing Director, Direct Private Equity at CPP Investments, one of Petco's Sponsors, which he joined in 2008. Prior to CPP Investments he worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions investment banking group at CIBC World Markets. He also serves on the boards of Qualtrics and NEOGOV and holds a bachelor's degree from York University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Christopher Stadler has served as a member of Petco's board of directors since 2016 and is a Managing Partner at CVC, one of Petco's Sponsors, which he joined in 2007, where he co-chairs the Sustainability Committee and chairs the Philanthropic Committee. Prior to CVC he worked for Investcorp as Head of Private Equity, North America after joining as a Managing Director in 1996, and previously served on the board of BJ's Wholesale Club Holdings, Inc. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Drew University and an MBA from Columbia University.

Mary Sullivan has served as a member of Petco's board of directors since 2021 and is Senior Managing Director & Chief Talent Officer at CPP Investments, one of Petco's Sponsors, which she joined in 2015. She previously served as Senior Vice President, People at Holt, Renfrew & Co. from 2014 to 2015 and in senior human resources roles at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts from 2007 to 2014 and at IMAX Corporation. Ms. Sullivan holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.

Iris Yen has served as a member of Petco's board of directors since June 2023, having previously served as an Observer and Advisor to the board from December 2021 to June 2023. She is Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at Wella Company, which she joined in September 2023, and previously served as Vice President, Global Technology North America at NIKE, Inc. from June 2022 to September 2023 and in other Nike leadership roles after joining in 2016 from Gap Inc., where she spent 13 years. Ms. Yen holds a bachelor's degree from Brown University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Sabrina Simmons has served as Petco's Chief Financial Officer since February 2025, having served as a member of Petco's board of directors and Audit Committee chair from 2021 until resigning to become CFO. She previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Gap, Inc. until 2017, after holding progressively senior finance and treasury roles there. Ms. Simmons currently serves on the boards of Columbia Sportswear Company and Coursera, Inc., previously served on the boards of Williams-Sonoma Inc. and e.l.f. Beauty, Inc., and is a CPA (inactive) in California.

Giovanni Insana has served as Petco's Chief Legal Officer and Secretary since October 2023, having previously served as VP Legal, Securities and M&A from April 2023 to October 2023 and as Associate General Counsel, Securities from January 2021 to April 2023. Prior to joining Petco he served as Assistant General Counsel and Senior Corporate Counsel at InterDigital, Inc. from 2019 to 2021 and was an associate at Dechert LLP from 2015 to 2019. Mr. Insana holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Pittsburgh and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.

Holly May has served as Petco's Chief Human Resources Officer since February 2024. Prior to joining Petco she served as Executive Vice President and Global Chief Human Resources Officer for Walgreens Boots Alliance from October 2021 to November 2023, as Global Chief Human Resources Officer at Abercrombie & Fitch from January 2021 to October 2021, and as Senior Vice President, Global Total Rewards & Service Delivery at Starbucks from September 2018 to January 2021. Ms. May holds a bachelor's degree from Wellesley College and a Master of Finance degree from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.

Joe Venezia has served as Petco's Chief Revenue Officer since November 2024. Prior to joining Petco he served as Chief Operating Officer of Stores at Michaels from February 2021 to November 2024 and as President of Bridgestone Retail Operations from June 2017 to January 2021, and previously led global store operations for retailers including Toys "R" Us, Babies "R" Us and The Pantry, and served as Walmart's Northeast Division President. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, he served as an officer in the U.S. Army for nine years before beginning his corporate career at The Procter & Gamble Company.

Michael Romanko has served as Petco's Chief Customer and Product Officer since February 2025. Prior to joining Petco he served as Chief Merchandising and Marketing Officer at Five Below, Inc., a role he held for a decade until November 2024, and earlier as Chief Design Officer for Patriarch Partners, LLC. He has also held senior merchandising and product development roles at Fortunoff, Lenox, Linens 'N Things and Toys "R" Us, and attended The College of New Jersey.

Brian LaRose served as Petco's Chief Financial Officer until February 17, 2025, when he was succeeded by Sabrina Simmons. Following the transition he remained a full-time non-officer employee providing transition services through April 30, 2025, and under a transition and separation agreement received a lump sum cash payment of $730,392 (representing 12 months of base salary and 12 months of group health plan continuation premiums) plus a pro-rated annual incentive and a $27,945 retention bonus installment.

Jack Stout served as Petco's Chief Merchandising Officer, an appointment announced in February 2025 and effective February 24, 2025. Effective November 29, 2025, Mr. Stout's employment was terminated without cause.
