Vincent Sorgi is President and Chief Executive Officer of PPL Corporation and a management director on its board. With approximately 30 years of experience in the utility industry, he brings extensive capital markets, finance and accounting expertise, providing particularly valuable insight into accounting and controls.
As Chief Executive Officer since June 2020, Mr. Sorgi has led PPL's transformation into a premier, pure-play U.S. regulated utility holding company. In his prior role as Chief Operating Officer he led the day-to-day operations of PPL's utilities, and as Chief Financial Officer from 2014 to 2019 he was instrumental in guiding PPL through the spinoff of its competitive generation business. He began his career in the accounting industry.
