Paul W. Chung has served as a director and Chairman of the Board of Targa Resources since January 1, 2021, following a long tenure as the company's top legal executive.
From March 2020 until December 31, 2020, he served as Executive Vice President and Senior Legal Advisor, and from May 2004 to March 2020 as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of the company, its predecessor entities and the General Partner. Earlier, he served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of various Shell Oil Company affiliates, including Coral Energy, LLC and Shell Trading North America Company (1999–May 2004), as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of Tejas Gas Corporation (1996–1999), and in legal positions including at the law firm of Vinson & Elkins L.L.P.
