IDEX Corporation acquired Classic Engineering, Inc. for $3.7 million, structured as All-cash, financed by borrowings under the Credit Facility.
Classic Engineering, Inc. operates in Pump Products Group (Pulsafeeder business unit). In September 2003 IDEX acquired Classic Engineering, Inc., headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, a supplier of fully integrated pump and metering systems to chemical companies and municipal water-treatment facilities that also designs, engineers and manufactures standard and custom chemical-feed systems for the water, wastewater, chemical OEM, pulp and paper, cement and general industrial markets. Classic was operated as part of Pulsafeeder.
Added integrated pump-and-metering and chemical-feed systems capability to the Pulsafeeder water and wastewater platform.
