David Keys has served as a director of 22nd Century Group since 2025 (appointed July 14, 2025). He began his career with Deloitte serving in the audit group in the Las Vegas and New York City executive offices.
He was Executive Vice President, CFO and a member of the executive committee of the Board of Directors of American Pacific Corporation, a chemical company publicly traded on Nasdaq. Since 2004 he has been an independent financial and operations consultant. He is a CPA, CVA, CMA, CGMA, CITP, CFF and CFM, and received a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Oklahoma State University. He is Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Corporate Governance & Nominating and Compensation Committees.
