Daniel J. Starks served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of St. Jude Medical, Inc., a medical device manufacturer, from 2004 until his retirement in January 2016, and as Executive Chairman of the Board from January 2016 to January 2017, when Abbott completed its acquisition of St. Jude Medical.
He joined St. Jude Medical in 1996 and joined Abbott's Board of Directors in 2017.
