Daniel J. Cancelmi is a seasoned finance leader with extensive knowledge of healthcare and a track record of driving financial performance. He was appointed to the Acadia board effective March 12, 2026 as a Class III director and serves as a member of the Audit Committee.
Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) from September 2012 to December 2023, where he played a significant role in the company's transformation and in strengthening its balance sheet. Over the course of his three-decade career at Tenet, he held a range of finance roles of increasing responsibility, including oversight of both enterprise-wide and hospital-level financial operations. Mr. Cancelmi began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Cancelmi was selected to the Acadia board in March 2026 following a comprehensive search process led by the Board's Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, with the assistance of a nationally recognized executive search firm and following constructive engagement with Khrom Capital Management LLC. He is a certified public accountant licensed in Texas and Florida.
