David A. Zapico is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of AMETEK. He was elected Chairman in June 2017 and has served as Chief Executive Officer since May 2016. He joined AMETEK as a Product Engineer in 1990 and advanced through a series of engineering and general management positions.
Holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
