Thomas A. Amato is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MW Components, an engineered components manufacturer serving the aerospace, oil & gas, transportation, and industrial markets. Previously, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of TriMas Corporation, a publicly traded company serving the aerospace, consumer, and industrial markets, from July 2016 through June 2025. Prior to TriMas, he was Chief Executive Officer and President of Metaldyne, LLC and Co-President of Metaldyne Performance Group Inc.
He brings to the Board more than 25 years of broad industrial, including aerospace, and international experience, having served in several executive-level leadership positions at global, multibillion-dollar businesses. He serves on AMETEK's Compensation Committee, which he chairs.
