Mr. Cooper has served as Capital One's General Counsel since February 2018, assumed the additional role of Corporate Secretary in March 2022, and became President, Discover Integration in May 2025, leading continuing integration matters relating to Discover. He was named Integration Executive Officer for the Discover acquisition in February 2024. He joined Capital One in January 2009 and has served in various positions, including Chief Counsel, Legal from January 2016 to February 2018, Chief Counsel, Global Card from July 2012 to January 2016, and Chief Counsel, Litigation from January 2009 to February 2016.
