Joseph W. LaPlume

Joseph W. LaPlume is Corporate Executive Vice President, Corporate Development & Strategy of Charles River Laboratories. He joined the Company in 2005 as Senior Corporate Counsel, became Deputy General Counsel in 2010, Vice President, Corporate Development in 2011, Senior Vice President in 2014, and Corporate Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy in January 2019. In his current role, he oversees all aspects of strategic planning and corporate development activities across business segments and geographies.

Prior to joining the Company, Mr. LaPlume was a corporate lawyer at GTECH Corporation and in private practice at the law firms of Mintz Levin and Goulston & Storrs.
