Nicholas M. Westfall served as Executive Vice President of Chemed Corporation and as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of VITAS. On July 29, 2025, he advised the Company that he was resigning as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of VITAS, effective July 29, 2025, to pursue other interests; he continued as Executive Vice President of Chemed and assisted with the transition of his duties until December 1, 2025.
Mr. Westfall had been an employee of the Company since April 2009. The Company's Board of Directors elected him an Executive Vice President of Chemed effective June 16, 2016, at which time he was also appointed Chief Executive Officer of VITAS, succeeding Timothy S. O'Toole. Prior to that, Mr. Westfall had served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of VITAS since April 2015.
