Jacinth C. Smiley is a director of Donaldson Company, serving since 2022, and is a member of the Audit Committee (designated an Audit Committee Financial Expert). She is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hormel Foods Corporation, a global branded food company, a position she has held since January 2022.
Before becoming CFO, Smiley was Group Vice President, Corporate Strategy of Hormel Foods from April 2021 to December 2021. Earlier she was Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of LyondellBasell Industries N.V. from 2018 to 2021, and held a series of finance leadership roles at General Electric, including Chief Financial Officer, North America Region of GE Oil & Gas (2014-2018); Chief Financial Officer of GE Corporate, Licensing (2012-2014); and Director of Financial Planning & Analysis of GE Capital, Equipment Finance (2009-2012).
Smiley brings significant public company financial experience and senior finance and accounting expertise to the Board. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and is a Certified Public Accountant.
