He is the former President and CEO of Siemens USA, where he led strategic reviews across a portfolio of approximately 45 businesses in the company's largest market with over $22 billion in revenue, 50,000 employees and over 60 manufacturing facilities, participated in the acquisition, divestiture, joint venture and carve-out of over 30 business units and segments, and executed Siemens' "Vision 2020" initiative. Prior to Siemens, he was a global consultant at Booz & Company and Booz Allen Hamilton, where he served as Managing Partner, Global Energy, Chemicals, and Power. An expert on the global energy industry, he co-authored the book Energy Shift: Game-changing Options for Fueling the Future. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
