Charles Meyers is Executive Chairman of Equinix, a role he has held since 2024. He has served on the Equinix Board of Directors since September 2018.
He previously served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Equinix from 2018 to 2024. Before becoming CEO, he was President, Strategy, Services and Innovation from 2017 to 2018, Chief Operating Officer from 2013 to 2017, and President, Equinix Americas from 2010 to 2013.
Prior to joining Equinix, he held various positions at VeriSign, an internet security company now part of Symantec, from 2006 to 2010, including Group President of Messaging and Mobile Media and Product Group Executive for the Security and Communications portfolio. In addition to Equinix, he currently serves on the public company board of Fastly. His expertise spans data center and digital infrastructure, technology depth and customer perspective, executive leadership, M&A, global perspective and human capital.
