Fidelma Russo has served as an independent director of Equinix since June 2022. She sits on the Nominating and Governance Committee and the Technology and Strategy Committee.
She is Executive Vice President and General Manager of Hybrid Cloud (since 2023) and Chief Technology Officer (since 2021) of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). Previously, she was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Cloud Services Business Unit at VMware from 2020 to 2021, and held various senior leadership roles at Iron Mountain, Inc. from 2017 to 2020, including Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President.
Her expertise spans data center and digital infrastructure, cloud/XaaS, executive leadership, M&A, global perspective, go-to-market, product and software development, digital transformation and AI, cybersecurity and human capital. She has previously served on the public company board of SBA Communications.
