Sandra Rivera has served as an independent director of Equinix since October 2019. She sits on the Nominating and Governance Committee, the Stock Award Committee, the Talent, Culture and Compensation Committee and the Technology and Strategy Committee.

Earlier in her career, she was General Manager of the CTI division at Catalyst Telecom from 1998 to 2000, and Co-Founder and President of The CTI Authority from 1996 to 1998. Her expertise spans data center and digital infrastructure, cloud/XaaS, executive leadership, M&A, global perspective, go-to-market, product and software development, digital transformation and AI, and human capital.
