Dr. Yanbing Li was elected as an independent director of Equinix effective August 12, 2025, and serves on the Talent, Culture and Compensation Committee and the Technology and Strategy Committee.
She is Chief Product Officer of Datadog, a role she has held since August 2024, and has been a Limited Partner at Operative Collective since May 2019. Previously, she was Senior Vice President of Engineering at Aurora from July 2021 to August 2024, and VP of Engineering and Product, Google Cloud, at Google from June 2019 to July 2021.
She held various management roles at VMware from 2008 to 2019, most recently as Senior VP and GM, Storage and Availability BU. Her expertise spans data center and digital infrastructure, cloud/XaaS, executive leadership, M&A, global perspective, go-to-market, product and software development, digital transformation and AI, cybersecurity and human capital. She has previously served on the public company board of Neophotonics.
