Daniel L. Comas is an independent director of Fortive. He previously served as Executive Vice President of Danaher Corporation, a global science and technology company, from April 2005 to December 2020, including as Chief Financial Officer through December 2018.
He joined Danaher in 1991 and held various other roles with responsibilities over corporate development, treasury, finance and risk management. He has served as an advisor to Danaher since 2021 and as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University since 2018. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Georgetown University and an MBA from Stanford University.
