Roxanne S. Austin has served as a member of the Freshworks board of directors since May 2021 and was elected Chairperson of the Board effective December 2025. Since December 2004 she has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Austin Investment Advisors, a private investment and consulting firm.
Earlier in her career she held a series of executive positions, including President and CEO of Move Networks, Inc., President and CEO of DIRECTV, Inc., and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hughes Electronics Corporation. She is a former partner of Deloitte & Touche LLP and from 2016 until 2023 chaired the U.S. Mid-Market Investment Advisors Committee of EQT Partners. She holds a B.B.A. in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
