Robert M. Patterson has been an independent director of Greif since 2020, chairs the Audit Committee, serves on the Stock Repurchase Committee, and has been determined to be an Audit Committee Financial Expert. From May 2014 to December 2023 he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Avient Corporation, and from May 2016 also served as its Chairman of the Board.
From May 2008 to April 2014 he held various leadership roles at Avient, including Chief Financial Officer, and earlier held leadership roles at Novelis, Inc. and SPX Corporation.
