Jonathan E. Johnson III was Chief Executive Officer of Overstock.com, Inc. (now Beyond, Inc.) from September 2019 to November 2023 and a member of its board from May 2013 to November 2023, having earlier held roles including General Counsel, Senior Vice President, President, Executive Vice Chairman, Chairman, and Interim CEO. From August 2016 to April 2021 he served as director and president of Medici Ventures, Overstock's corporate venture arm.
Before Overstock he was with TenFold Corporation, a software and services company, from 1999 to 2002 in roles including General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer. He joined the Smucker board in 2022, serves as Lead Independent Director, and sits on the Compensation and Nominating committees.
