Shawn D. Williams is Executive Chairman of Covia Holdings LLC, a provider of minerals-based solutions serving the industrial and energy markets, and has served as an independent director of Kirby since 2021. He has over 30 years of experience in executive and managerial positions in the United States and global industrial markets.
He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Nexeo Plastics Holdings, Inc. and spent 22 years in leadership roles at General Electric Company. He holds a BS in Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
