Dev Ittycheria served as MongoDB's President and Chief Executive Officer from September 2014 to November 2025 and has been a member of the board of directors since September 2014.
Before joining MongoDB he was a Managing Director at OpenView Venture Partners (Oct 2013-Sep 2014) and a Venture Partner at Greylock Partners (Feb 2012-Jun 2013). From April 2008 to February 2010 he served as President-Enterprise Management at BMC Software, Inc., which he joined via its acquisition of BladeLogic, Inc., a company he co-founded and led as Chief Executive Officer. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University.
