Roelof Botha has served on MongoDB's board of directors since December 2013. Since January 2003 he has held various positions at Sequoia Capital, a venture capital firm, including as a Managing Member of Sequoia Capital Operations, LLC.
From March 2000 to January 2003 he held various positions at PayPal, Inc., including Chief Financial Officer. He received his B.S. in Actuarial Science, Economics and Statistics from the University of Cape Town and his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
