John B. Hansen retired as an Executive Vice President of Mueller Industries in 2014. Over his career with the Company he served in a variety of roles, including President-Plumbing Business, President-Manufacturing Operations and Senior Vice President - Strategy and Industry Relations.
He was nominated to serve as a director because of his extensive industry experience and deep knowledge of the Company, its full array of operations and the global markets it serves. He currently serves on the Compensation and Personnel Development Committee.
On August 4, 2014, the Board of Directors announced the election of Mr. Hansen to the Board effective immediately; at the time of election he was not appointed to any committees of the Board.
