David J. West is an established consumer-industry leader with 30 years of experience, and has served as Simply Good Foods' Vice Chairman of the Board since July 2017. He became a Partner of Centerview Capital Consumer in May 2016 and was CEO of Conyers Park Acquisition Corp. (2016-2017), Conyers Park II (2019-2020) and Co-CEO of Conyers Park III (2021-2023).
He was CEO and President of Big Heart Pet Brands (formerly Del Monte Foods) from 2011 to 2015, overseeing roughly $2 billion of equity value creation before its 2015 sale to J.M. Smucker. Earlier he was CEO, President and a director of The Hershey Company from 2007 to 2011 (having previously served as its COO, CFO, Chief Customer Officer and SVP of Strategy), and spent 14 years at the Nabisco Biscuit and Snacks group in senior finance and strategy roles.
