Sir Peter L. Bonfield joined TSMC's Board of Directors in 2002 and chairs its Audit and Risk Committee. He served as CEO and Chairman of British Telecommunications from 1996 to 2002 and chaired NXP Semiconductor N.V. and GlobalLogic Inc. He is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, holds a bachelor's degree and honorary doctorate from Loughborough University, and was awarded Commander of the Order of Orange Nassau in 2024.
