Stephanie Lovell has served on the TransMedics Board since March 2021.
She served as Executive Vice President, Medicare and Chief Legal Officer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA) from July 2015 to December 2021, and previously as its Senior Vice President and General Counsel from December 2011 to July 2015; before BCBSMA she was Senior Vice President of Administration and General Counsel for Boston Medical Center from March 2007 to December 2011.
She also previously served as First Assistant Attorney General in the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General and as Executive Director for the Massachusetts State Ethics Commission, and holds a philosophy degree from Hamilton College and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
