Elliot J. Sussman, M.D. has served as a director of Universal Health Services since 2018 and chairs its Nominating and Governance and Quality and Compliance committees. He was Founder and Chairman of The Villages Health from 2012 to 2026 and previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network from 1993 to 2010. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Yale New Haven Health System from 2011 to 2023 and previously chaired the boards of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and of the Association of American Medical Colleges.
