He previously served as Senior Vice President and Co-Head of the company's Acute Care Division from 2007, as Vice President from 2005, and in various acute care roles beginning in 2000; he was elected a Director in 2006. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Universal Health Realty Income Trust and was a member of the Board of Directors of Premier, Inc. from 2015 until Premier was sold in November 2025.
