James F. McCann is the founder of the Company and serves as the Executive Chairman of the Board. He also served as Chief Executive Officer of the Company from inception until June 2016, and again from July 2023 until May 2025.
Mr. McCann has been in the floral industry since 1976 when he began a retail chain of flower shops in the New York metropolitan area. He is the brother of Christopher G. McCann, who is a Director and employee of the Company.
As the Company's Executive Chairman and former Chief Executive Officer, he brings deep understanding of the Company's strategic business goals and extensive industry experience.
